Saya sudah agak lama main internet, jadi sudah nggak heran lagi dengan adanya email yang mengatakan bahwa email kita terpilih untuk mendapatkan uang sekian juta dolar. Wuah… Contoh Emailnya seperti ini:

Biasanya, email seperti itu berasal dari Nigeria, Benin, Hongkong dan beberapa dari Malaysia. Kalau Indonesia sih, kayaknya belum pernah nerima.

Kalau nerima email seperti itu, biasanya sih langsung difilter oleh google, dianggap sebagai spam. Baru kemarin gue dapat ide untuk ‘mengakalin’ mereka. Caranya begini:

Gue khan punya file di beberapa file hosting. Nah , ketika mereka meminta kita menyerahkan data pribadi, bilang aja kita sangat berterima kasih untuk hadiahnya dan mengharapkan dapat segera diproses. Kemudian kita berikan juga link ke download file kita, misalkan di rapidshare. Kalau gue sih, filenya yang gedhe sekalian, biar tahu rasa mereka yang suka bohongin orang. Samarkan nama filenya, seperti MyData.doc atau yang semacam itu. Tuliskan juga bahwa kita telah mengirim data kita lengkap termasuk scan Driver Licence segala, makanya ukuran filenya gedhe (biar mereka gak curiga). Setelah itu, kirim dech.

Gue brengsek juga khan. Sementara yang gue berikan tuh, file ngawur aja yang cukup besar, sekitar 34 Mega.

Lumayan juga donwload 34 Mega hanya untuk kecewa. Tapi ada juga yang kemudian membalas bahwa mereka tidak mengerti dengan data yang kita berikan, Lalu minta dikirim ulang. Yea, gampang banget, gue bilang aja: kayaknya di data itu sudah lengkap. Kalau belum ya gak apa-apa gue kirimin ulang aja data tersebut. BETAPA GOBLOKNYA MEREKA.. Donwload lagi deh mereka ke file yang beda. Tapi tetep, ukurannya guedhe.

MEREKA MENGIRA MENIPU KITA, SEBENARNYA MEREKA SENDIRI YANG KETIPU.

Cuman ada yang bahaya loh, Contohnya ada email yang mengatakan bahwa paypal kita bermasalah, sehingga harus klik linknya untuk membenarkan. Emailnya seperti ini:

Mereka tahu aja kita punya paypal yang ada isinya. Weeh. Kalau yang kayak gini, gue laporin ke I3C.

CATATAN :

1. Hati-hatilah dengan dunia internet
2. Jangan mudah percaya dengan iming-iming hadiah besar. Pasti nipu dech. Ujung2nya kita nanti disuruh kirim uang ke mereka.
3. Selalu cek link maupun pengirim asli dari email yang kita terima bila mencurigakan
